Prácticas en España

El instituto de Gastronomía Española ve la importancia en que los estudiantes realicen unas buenas prácticas, por ello desde sus inicios empezó a realizar colaboraciones con establecimiento de Hostelería (Hoteles y Restaurantes) de gran prestigio, donde sus estudiantes tuvieran la posibilidad de aprender y que dicha experiencia les sirviera para poder labrarse un futuro profesional prometedor.

Por ello, estamos ofreciendo a las Universidades y a todas aquellas personas que deseen tener esta experiencia práctica, la posibilidad de realizar un stage dentro de los establecimientos con los que colaboramos.

Una de las cosas más importantes que ofrecemos además de asegurar el aprendizaje, es el alojamiento, ya que el interesado no deberá de buscar ni alquilar ningún alojamiento ya que está cubierto (muy cerca de donde realizará su stage, sin problemas de desplazamiento, ya que la mayoría de ellos, van caminado). Lo único que deben buscar es transporte para llegar hasta el establecimiento y de ahí a coordinamos para que lleguen al lugar donde se alojaran para toda su estancia.

The Instituto de Gastronomía Española has designed and taught certifications that base their learning methodology on experiential learning. The programs offered reinforce the learning outside of the classroom. By taking the students to the “real world”, the Institute expects to increase the value for students to be part of its short programs and certifications.

The close collaboration with the hospitality and tourism industry has allowed the Instituto de Gastronomía Española, not only to maintain a close collaboration with prestigious hotels and restaurants, but to be able to bring the best chefs and profesional from the industry to the classroom.

By doing so, the institute aims to build a bridge between academia and the industry, where knowledge is shared among practitioners and learners.But sometimes these short experiences are simply not enough. We understand that the students are willing to increase their professional skills and competences, that they want to travel and explore the world, to be part of a team where they can learn from the best in their sector.

Therefore the instituto de Gastronomía Española together with our collaborators, has designed an internship program for those interested in:

- Facilitation of placements in prestigious hotels and restaurants
- Mentoring during the placement
- Organisation of accommodation during the placement
- Evaluation of the internship
- Certification of the internship

Start Date:
The start date will depend on the selected placement from our catalogue internships.

Internship Length:
Minimum 3 months and a maximum a year, all depending on your availability.

Language:
The internship is also an opportunity to learn the local language.

Candidates:
All students with EUcitizenships are welcome to apply to the program.

You must have:
- Passport
- Travel insurance (Valid for the country you will stay)
- Acceptance letter (we take care of this)
- Internship Agreement signed by all the parts (We take care of this)


Accomodation
We are aware that arriving at your new destination is not easy, therefore we take this task seriously and organise together with the hosting organization your accommodation and when possible we place you within walking distance from your placement.
Great news, the accommodation is included in the price! So you only need to pack your suitcases, book your flight and arrive at the placement, then they will take care of you from there!


Mentorship:
We will assign a mentor at your placement, who will be monitoring your internship. We know how necessary it is to have a contact person, in case you need assistance during your stay. Therefore your mentor also will follow your professional development during your stay and help you through the process, so all goes smoothly.
